Lederer Park Spring
Cleanup
Each year in April, our club undertakes cleaning up Lederer Park in State
College at 1101 University Dr. The park is named in honor of Lucy Lederer,
the mother of one of our charter members, Eugene
Lederer. Lederer Park is one of the unknown jewels in the Parks and
Recreation office. There is a hidden meadow up the hill from what looks
like the main park. There are areas for picnics and lots of playing
in a beautiful meadow. There are opportunities
for anyone to get involved with supporting the park.
