  • Previous Mystery member's experience: he started school in Africa at age 5.click for answer
  • There were 6 Rotarian workers at the Ohio State game. We were done working in time for the opening kickoff and had seats on the field. If you want to help raise funds for RYEX consider helping out.
  • We were able to attract 7 applicants for the 4 District GSE team. The 7 go to the district interviews on November 8 to go head to head with other applicants/ I hear through the grapevine that there are no other applicants!
  • The evening Rotary club now has a list serv like us. Their address is RotaryEvening-L@lists.psu.edu. Contact Mary Johnston if you want to be added to their list.
  • Paul Bell was 39 on the 27th
  • We will be helping Interfaith Mission by bell-ringing on December 3rd
  • Our prayer book is missing! Who stole it?
  • Linda Friedman reminded us of the Rotary Foundation pot and the Rotary Foundation.
  • Help work football gates. You will receive a free parking pass, and a ticket with on field seats to the game. The commitment is to work 1-1/2 hours before the game taking tickets and sometimes working the first quarter or a portion of the first quarter. Our Rotary Club receives the hourly payment for the time served and these funds are deposited into our Youth Exchange Funds account. Previous Week's Speaker: Martin Sheridan, TekResults, Computer and Networking Security

This week's speaker was Martin Sheridan, founder of TekResults a firm that specializes in cyber-security.Martin discussed the extent of threats, the history of hacking, bugs and break-ins. He talked about what we can do and how much security one might want.

All makeup's are good for credit toward meetings missed 14 days before or 14 days after the makeup. Makeup's made at other Rotary Club meetings also get a dues credit. Makeup's at service projects get attendance credit only. All makeup cards should be turned into the club secretary promptly.
