The fund raising committee passed out tickets for use to sell for the cruise raffle. The cruise doesn't have a date it has be taken within. The value of the cruise is $3500. Winners can arrange a round that. It should be good enough though, for airfare from Harrisburg to a carribbean cruise port, and a cruise of 7 days. The second prize is a 27" color TV; 3rd prize is a cash award of $250.

Previous Week's Speaker: Brian Knox - Forests are our Future

Brian Allen, from the Schlow Library was our speaker. She spoke about the origins of the downtown library and the reason we need a new one. She had a slide presentation including drawings of hte new facility, a listing of new or improved services, and a project cost breakdown. The new library is scheduled to be completed by 2006.
