Previous Week's Speaker: DG Jack Corderman

Our scheduled speaker was DG Jack Corderman from the Hagerstown, MD club. Jack earned a JD from the University of Maryland, served in the Maryland State Senate, was a judge and has three grandchildren.
There are 1.2 million Rotarians now. Jack preseted Meg with a banner from RI President Bhichai Rattakui. The slogan for he year is "Sow the Seeds of Love." Jack also presented PDG Carol Walsh with a throw.
When Jack joined Rotary in 1982, he looked on it as a chance to have lunch with business leaders and nothing more. He started his service by hosting Rotary exchange students. Jack said he is going to do his best as DG. He surveyed the crowd at lunch for Rotary pins then he distributed theme pins. He talked about the goals of Rotary and Polio Plus.
