Auction: Dr. D donated a bust of Aristotle from Greece. The winning bid was Mary Ann Eberle's bid of $30. Thanks to both.!!

We are looking for a host for our Rotary Youth Exchange student. Please contact Ron Taverno if you can help. Ron can fill you in with more details. He mentioned that it takes a three month commitment split during the school year.
The student is a girl from Croatia. Ron said her emails were great and she knew English quite well.
The board will be meeting at the usual place at 8:00 on Tuesday.
Meg said the DG has requested board members be at the club meeting on August 8 30 minutes early.(11:30 a.m.)

Previous Week's Speaker: LeAnn Martin Classification talk

Our scheduled speaker was LeAnn Martin. She gave a talk on her classification as a banker but also spoke to us about her life story so far.
LeAnn was born in Waterford, PA as one of three siblings. She is the first in the family to go off to college. Her parents haev been married 46 years. LeAnn's husband is Jeff. They have two kids-Abby 16 and Ben 12. LeAnn's first job was in a bank called State College federal. She later worked for Central Counties bank and its successor Mellon. She left mellon to go to a private firm and then returned to banking at PNC. She now is at M and T Bank handing middle marlket clients.
LeAnn likes reading. Her favorite person is Abigail Adams. She likes to ski, hike, sail, tennis, and bike. She is involved in the community other than Rotary with the State College School District Finance Committee.

Makeup's at service projects get attendance credit only. All makeup cards should be turned into the club secretary promptly.
