Paul Rutter offered happy bucks because his wife began her one year sabbatical. Doug offered happy bucks for something too.

  • mystery answer: It was Doug Holmes. Doug said his father was a photographer under contract to a bank that was taking Mr. Bacchus from bank office to bank office as part of a promotion. Doug was able to ride around because his father was part of the promotion taking pictures. Doug had complimentary things to say about Mr. Magoo.
Previous Week's Speaker: Doug Holmes on campus construction

Doug spoke to us about construction and parking going on, on the campus of PSU. He outlined four topics for his presentation.

  • East Sub campus (by East Halls with 1273 spaces)
  • Pollock Road
  • Shortledge Mall (between Curtin & Pollock)
  • Additional smaller areas

The parking deck by ag admin and the new business school will be finished July 31.

The Shortledge Mall will be pedestrian friendly area due to the over 4000 crossings of Shortledge per hour by students.

Doug gave a really good presentation with a lot of graphics to help show us what is what. He answered several of our questionss and fielded them all quite amiably with help from Mark Whitfield on Borough issues. Thanks!!

This week’s note taker: Mary DeArmitt & Paul Rutter
