Previous Week's Speaker: Paul Rutter with a preview of the GSE presentation

Since I have no clue what we did last week, I'll just let you know briefly that the trip to Korea was a huge success. I loved every minute of it. It was a challenge and I think we all met it. From the live baby octopus being chopped up in front of us to eat (& we did with relish), the boiled silk worm larvae & the roasted locusts and grasshoppers, and not to forget the 15 varieties of kim chi-- yum! We were feted by mayors and city council members, university presidents, living national treasures, corporation directors, and every Rotarian we had the priviledge to meet.
Former GSE team members Pam and Russ and GSE leader Dick didn't tell me how we would be treated like royalty--I'm not used to that treatment!
The Korean Rotarians and families are to be commended for their extreme generosity, friendliness, and complete ability to keep us occupied 100% of our time. We would visit ginseng open markets in the morning and climb mountains in the afternoon. We visited temples, cultural sites and museums. We never had a day off, there was so much to do and see.
That might be the only complaint. We never had time to wander on our own and wonder at Korea.
It was a blast! Thanks to Rotary and my wife for encouraging me to go.

Here's the link to the GSE show in power point.
