  • The club has a list serv. All active members are on it. The email address for it is SCDTROTARY-@LISTS.PSU.EDU. It only works if you are a subscriber so if you aren't on it and want to know even more about the club email Paul Rutter to see about your admission. It is a private listserv not open to the public. If you are already on it and want help with it please call or email me.
  • The raffle for the cruise was held. The big winner was Mark Meckstroth. We still don't know if will pick the cruise or the cash. The second palce winner of the huge television was Sue Mascola, our former county commissioner, and the third palce winner of the $250 cash was none other than Dennis Hampton. Thanks to all for selling tockets and bigger thanks to the members who sold all their tickets.
  • In January we will place orders for Rotary polo shirts and long sleeve denim shirts. These will have the club logo similar to the shirts we had made about three years ago. Maryann Eberle is takign charge of this activity.

  • Nominations for club offices and board memberships are being accepted. Please contact anyone on the nominating committee if you are interested.
  • The club earned about $1200 from the Festival of the Trees
  • Two weeks ago we lost the Club Web site when our Internet provider of server space went out of business. Through the kindness of a local Internet Service Provider (Centre of the Web) and my own business (Paul Rutter Web Design) the club Web site is back on the Internet. The new address is http://www.centreweb.com/rotary/club/ or http://www.sc-rotary.org. There are a few bugs to work out with files that are missing as a result of our old ISP going out of business without notice. I hope to have them back in place soon. Many thanks to Vicon for the three years of service we did get from them at no charge.
